According to our once great and late President, Abraham Lincoln,
this is a government of the "People", by the "People", for the
"People". This he stated was made very clear in the "Constitution
of the United States". Our First Amendment of the "Bill of Rights"
states:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of
religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridge
the freedom of speech, or of the press; or of the right of the
people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for
a redress of grievances.

[proposed September 25, 1789; ratified December 15, 1791] How much more of this amendment, (and all of the other Amendments), will you, the people of these United States, allow to be destroyed under the pretense of National Safety, while sitting idly by? How many people have had their "unalienable" rights, which are endowed by our creator, violated? How many agree with the loss of your personal, civil rights? The founding fathers of this "Once", great nation, not only were willing to 'fight' and 'die' for these same liberties, many 'did' fight and many did die in order to establish these liberties which you, the 'People', are willing to allow another to destroy! How many of you people today would be willing to fight, (and to die), for these exact same Civil Liberties that these founding fathers fought and died for? These same "Personal Liberties"' (the Right to 'LIFE', 'LIBERTY', and the 'PURSUIT of HAPPINESS'), of the "People", by the "People" and for the "People". I have to say that there are way too many people who just do not give a damn about their own personal liberties or freedoms, (let alone the Personal Liberties and Freedoms of another). How else can one explain a total lack of concen or unrest in this country today? During the 50's and the 60's there was much unrest because Civil Rights of others were being violated. There was also much unrest during the 60's and the 70's because many sons and daughters were being murdered in Viet Nam, and the biggest backers of that war were the big business conglomerates, (monopolies), with the blessing of our elected officials. If the Bull is not taken by the horns soon, you will end up being ruled by the same 'type' of Tyranical government that ruled for 70 years in the Soviet Union. Many in the countries controlled by the government of the Soviet Union were afraid to speak openly, afraid to pray openly, afraid to petition government freely, afraid to protest unjust treatment of others, and the list goes on and on. Those who say they are afraid that if they speak out against any injustice because they are afraid of losing their jobs, cars, homes, have already lost their jobs, their cars, their homes,....and.... they have also lost their own lives. Learn a lesson from what happened in the Soviet Union. Learn a lesson from World War II. Germany, Japan, Italy, etc. Speak out now or forever be servant to unjust laws and tyrants.
